In Chinese, the sycee is called yuan bao (元宝) — a homophone of the words ‘treasure’ and ‘currency’.

This one-of-a-kind pendant features an array of multi-coloured translucent Jadeite carvings in Yuan Bao motif, as a hanging mobile, artfully designed in the Art Deco Chinoiserie style, embellished with diamonds on subtle bat motifs which symbolises blissful fortune.
